GENERAL INFORMATION

These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of the NEXXT website (https://nexxtsummit.com) (the “Website”), registration for NEXXT Summit and related events, conferences, projects, surveys, and activities made available by the Organizers (each an “Event”), and attendance at an Event. The Organizers are ASOCIATIA UNCHAIN, a nonprofit association organized under Romanian law, with its registered office at Str. Dimitrie Anghel 15F, Apartment 11, Brașov, Romania, fiscal registration code 47954629, and UNCHAIN MEDIA S.R.L., with its registered office at Str. Dimitrie Anghel 15F, Apartment 11, Brașov, Romania, registered with the Trade Registry under number J8/1120/2022 and having fiscal registration code RO45968121. Together, they are referred to as the “Organizers”, “we”, “us”, or “our”.

ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS

By accessing or using the Website, submitting a registration, purchasing a ticket, completing an Event form or survey, or attending an Event, you agree to these Terms and Conditions and to any Event-specific rules clearly presented before registration or purchase. If you do not agree, you should not use the Website, register, purchase a ticket, or attend an Event. If you register or purchase a ticket for another person, you confirm that you are authorized to provide the required information and that you will ensure the attendee receives these Terms and any applicable Event information.

EVENT INFORMATION

The Event description, date, venue, format, agenda, speakers, access conditions, and other operational information are published on the Website or communicated directly to registered attendees. Event-specific information forms part of these Terms where it is clearly identified as applying to the relevant Event. We may make reasonable changes to the agenda, speakers, session times, content, venue areas, or delivery format where operationally necessary. We will publish or communicate material changes as soon as reasonably possible. Such changes do not affect rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

REGISTRATION AND TICKETS

Registration or ticket availability may be limited. A registration or purchase is complete only when the required information and payment have been successfully processed and a confirmation has been issued. Submitting a form or beginning a payment process does not reserve a place unless the Website expressly states otherwise. The total ticket price, applicable taxes, fees, payment arrangements, access rights, and any Event-specific restrictions will be displayed before purchase. Attendees must provide accurate and complete information and may be required to present a valid ticket, registration confirmation, or identification at entry. Tickets may not be resold, used for unauthorized commercial promotions, or transferred except in accordance with the transfer rules stated on the Event page or with the Organizers’ prior approval. We may refuse or cancel a registration obtained through fraud, unauthorized resale, misuse of a discount, or another material breach of these Terms, subject to applicable law.

CANCELLATIONS, REFUNDS, AND WITHDRAWAL

The cancellation, refund, and transfer conditions shown on the relevant Event page or during checkout apply to the ticket purchased. For Event tickets connected to a leisure activity scheduled for a specific date or period, the statutory fourteen-day withdrawal right may not apply where the law provides an exception. This does not limit any other mandatory consumer rights. If an attendee can no longer attend, any refund or transfer will be handled under the conditions communicated before purchase. If we cancel, postpone, or materially change an Event, we will communicate the available remedy, which may include use of the ticket for a rescheduled Event, a replacement benefit, or a refund, as appropriate and as required by applicable law. We are not responsible for separate travel, accommodation, visa, or other costs incurred by an attendee, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded. Attendees are encouraged to make flexible arrangements and obtain appropriate insurance where relevant.

EVENTS OUTSIDE OUR REASONABLE CONTROL

We may need to postpone, cancel, relocate, reduce, or change an Event because of circumstances outside our reasonable control. These may include severe weather, fire, flood, epidemic or public-health restrictions, war, civil disturbance, terrorism, labor disruption, failure of essential utilities or transport, government action, venue unavailability, or another event that makes delivery unsafe, illegal, or impracticable. When this happens, we will take reasonable steps to inform attendees and limit disruption. The remedy available will depend on the circumstances, the Event-specific conditions, and applicable law. Nothing in this section removes rights that cannot legally be excluded.

ATTENDEE RESPONSIBILITIES

Attendees must follow reasonable instructions from the Organizers, venue staff, security personnel, and emergency services. They must comply with access, health and safety, accreditation, security, and technical requirements communicated for the Event. Attendees are responsible for their conduct and personal belongings. They must not damage the venue or equipment, interfere with Event operations, misuse credentials, access restricted areas, or engage in unlawful, unsafe, deceptive, or disruptive activity. No person or organization may present an activity as an official NEXXT event, organize an unauthorized adjacent event using NEXXT branding, or imply endorsement, partnership, or affiliation without the Organizers’ prior written permission.

CODE OF CONDUCT

We are committed to a professional, safe, welcoming, and respectful environment. These standards apply to attendees, speakers, sponsors, partners, exhibitors, contractors, volunteers, staff, and anyone participating in an Event or an Event-related online space. Harassment, discrimination, intimidation, stalking, threats, violence, unwanted sexual attention, inappropriate physical contact, sustained disruption, and abusive or degrading language are not permitted. This includes conduct based on gender, gender identity or expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, nationality, ethnicity, religion, or any other protected or personal characteristic. Sexualized or otherwise inappropriate images, language, activities, or promotional materials are not permitted in Event spaces. Photography, recording, screenshots, or online conduct must not be used to harass, intimidate, or invade another person’s reasonable expectation of privacy. Anyone asked to stop inappropriate conduct must comply immediately. The Organizers may take proportionate action, including a warning, removal from a session or the Event, cancellation of accreditation, refusal of future admission, or referral to venue security or public authorities. Removal for a serious or repeated breach may occur without a refund, to the extent permitted by law. Anyone who experiences or witnesses unsafe or inappropriate conduct should promptly contact a member of the organizing team or venue security. We will take reasonable steps to respond, which may include providing a safe space, arranging an escort, contacting emergency services or law enforcement, or offering other appropriate assistance.

PHOTOGRAPHY AND RECORDING

Photography, audio recording, and video recording may take place during an Event for documentation, reporting, security, and promotional purposes. Information about how images and recordings are used, the applicable legal basis, retention, and available rights is provided in the Privacy Policy or an Event-specific notice. Attendees must follow any photography restrictions announced for particular sessions or areas. Anyone with a specific concern should contact the Organizers at hello@unchain.media before the Event or speak with the organizing team at the venue.

PERSONAL DATA AND COMMUNICATIONS

Personal data collected through the Website, Event registration, ticketing, surveys, communications, photographs, or recordings is processed in accordance with the applicable Privacy Policy: \[insert link to Privacy Policy\]. The Privacy Policy explains the data collected, processing purposes, legal grounds, recipients, retention periods, international transfers where applicable, and individual rights. Operational communications required to administer a registration, payment, ticket, or Event are not marketing communications. Marketing messages are sent only where there is an appropriate legal basis, and recipients may unsubscribe using the method provided in the message. WEBSITE USE

The Website may be used only for lawful purposes. Users must not attempt to gain unauthorized access, interfere with security or operation, introduce malicious code, scrape or copy content through automated means without permission, impersonate another person, submit false information, or use the Website in a way that infringes another person’s rights. We take reasonable steps to keep the Website accurate, secure, and available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access or that all content will always be complete or error-free. We may suspend or restrict access for maintenance, security, legal, or operational reasons.

INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

The Website, Event materials, NEXXT names and branding, graphics, recordings, photographs, text, and other content made available by the Organizers are protected by intellectual-property laws. Unless expressly permitted, they may not be reproduced, modified, distributed, commercially exploited, or used to suggest an unauthorized association with the Organizers. Materials belonging to speakers, sponsors, partners, exhibitors, or other third parties remain subject to the rights and conditions specified by their respective owners. Attendance at an Event does not transfer any intellectual-property rights to an attendee.

THIRD-PARTY SERVICES AND LINKS

The Website or an Event may use or link to third-party ticketing, payment, streaming, accommodation, social media, or other services. Those services may have their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for a third party’s independent acts, omissions, or content, except where applicable law provides otherwise.

REFUSAL OR REMOVAL

We may refuse admission or remove a person where reasonably necessary for safety, security, capacity management, protection of others, compliance with law or venue rules, or a material breach of these Terms or the Code of Conduct. Decisions will be made proportionately and without unlawful discrimination.

LIABILITY

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence where it cannot be limited, or any other liability or consumer right that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Subject to the preceding paragraph, the Organizers are not responsible for indirect or unforeseeable losses, loss of opportunity, or losses arising from an attendee’s failure to follow these Terms, venue instructions, or reasonable security measures. Any limitation will apply only to the extent permitted by law.

GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTES

These Terms are governed by Romanian law. If you are a consumer, this choice does not remove mandatory protections available under the law of your country of residence or restrict your right to bring a claim before a court that has jurisdiction under applicable law. Before starting formal proceedings, attendees are encouraged to contact us at hello@unchain.media so that we can try to resolve the matter. Consumers may also use the complaint and dispute-resolution mechanisms available through the competent consumer-protection authority.

PUBLICATION AND AMENDMENT OF THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms to reflect changes in the Website, Events, law, technology, or our operations. The revised version will be published on the Website with an updated date. Changes will not retroactively reduce rights already acquired under a completed ticket purchase unless permitted by law or accepted by the affected attendee. If Event-specific terms conflict with these general Terms, the Event-specific terms apply to that Event to the extent of the conflict. Mandatory law always prevails. Last updated: 28-August-2026
